“All good things are wild and free” – Henry David Thoreau

The city of Charleston lies on a peninsula between the Ashley and Copper rivers. It was pretty, the architecture of the historic buildings and homes was lovely, there were gorgeous residential gardens and there was a nice walk along the waterfront. The Charleston City Market had a variety of knick nacks, food and homewares and a traditional South Carolinan lunch of she-crab soup and crab cakes at the Low Country Bistro was amazing!
