On my way to northern Sweden in 2011 I had a 6 hour layover in Stockholm and decided there was a better way to spend this time than read magazines in an uncomfortable airport lounge. So I took myself to Sigtuna on the edge of Mälaren, Sweden’s third largest lake. The morning was early, the bakery was open and I sat in the sun by the lake, kanelbulle in hand, breathing in the warm Swedish air and was so incredibly happy to be ‘home’ 🙂

Dear Linda,
Quite amusing that you chose to visit Sigtuna during your layover back in 2011. It certainly is a beautiful place and I know every corner in and around it, having spent 3 years in Sweden’s finest boarding schools there 1931-1933!

Åh den här bilden minns jag! 🙂 Roligt att läsa din text när kanelbulle helt plötsligt stod där hihi. Hoppas allt är bra! xoxo
